Course Description:  Accounting II goes beyond the journalizing of Accounting I and gets more into how businesses use accounting information to make decisions.  Topics include an introduction to accounting, accounting information systems, time value of money, and accounting for merchandising firms, sales and receivables, fixed assets, debt and equity.  This course covers some of the learning objectives of a traditional college level financial accounting course plus those from a managerial accounting course, both of which any business major in college will have to take.
