Academic & Career Planning
What is ACP?
Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is an ongoing process in which students are engaged in activities to explore, plan, and prepare for post-secondary success. The process includes active student engagement through activities embedded throughout the high school experience. ACP is also a portfolio that documents and summarizes students' explorations, coursework, and learning experiences. It also reflects students' post-secondary plans aligned to career goals.
Why ACP?
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's overall vision is for every high school student to graduate college and career ready. ACP at Union Grove Union High School is designed to support this vision by providing tools and experiences to guide students to develop personal, post-secondary goals with a plan to achieve them. We want students and their families to make informed choices about post-secondary planning as it relates to their goals, interests, and financial reality.
