Union Grove High School Sets the Bar High with Transcripted Credit Savings

Incredible Achievement: Over $385,000 Saved in 2022-2023 School Year

We're thrilled to share some truly outstanding news from Union Grove High School – our students have managed to save an astounding $385,856.30 during the 2022-2023 school year through transcripted credit courses. This impressive figure reflects the hard work and dedication of 821 students who seized the opportunity to take these courses, an increase from the 627 students who participated the previous year. Union Grove High School proudly holds the title of the #1 high school for transcripted credit savings in Racine and Kenosha counties, a testament to the collective effort of our students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Understanding Transcripted Credit

Transcripted Credit is a form of dual credit that empowers high school students to earn both high school and college credit by taking an approved college-level course at the high school, taught by a qualified high school teacher. This invaluable program allows students to get a head start on their college education while reducing the financial burden that often comes with it. By participating in these courses, our students are not only excelling academically but also making substantial strides in their personal and financial growth.
