👋 A little about me:
I grew up in Rochester, WI with my parents, younger sisters, and a few cats and dogs. After going to college in Iowa, I now live with my cat in Milwaukee.

✨ Fun fact:
I started songahm taekwondo when I was 3 years old, and now I have a 3rd degree black belt and teach others.

We’re excited to welcome Teah Jernander to the #BroncoFam! Ms. Jernander is joining Union Grove Union High School as our new School Counselor and FFA Advisor
👋 A little about me:
I’m so thankful to be joining the UGHS community! I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from UW-Whitewater and my Masters in Education from Concordia University WI. I spent six years working in the social work in Milwaukee before becoming an elementary school counselor, where I worked with 4K–5th grade students for the past six school years.
I’m especially excited to be “back home”! I grew up locally and graduated from Burlington HS. I was very involved in Racine County 4-H and the Burlington FFA chapter, and spent many years showing and raising sheep and participating in the Racine County Fair. (Which I will always say is the best week of the year!) After living away for the past several years, I’m thrilled to be back closer to family, friends, and the community that feels like home.
🎉 What I’m most excited about:
I’m most excited about working with a new age group of students! I’ve recently worked with elementary students in 4K–5th grade, so working with “big kids” is going to be a new adventure! I’m eager to get to know our students and help them navigate such an important time in their lives.
I’m really looking forward to helping students think about their goals, explore their interests, plan for life after high school, and figure out what comes next for them. Whether that means college, a career, technical education, the military, or another path! I’m excited to support students not only academically, but also personally and socially as they grow into the young adults they’re becoming.
✨ Fun fact:
My husband, Alex, and I have two Goldendoodles named Walter and Willard, and they are definitely a big part of our family! They are goofy, energetic, and always keep life interesting.
Some of my other hobbies include sewing and quilting, reading, watching movies and true crime documentaries, and trying out new restaurants with my friends and family.

Yesterday, the Broncos came together for the 5th annual Broncos Give Back Day, a day dedicated to giving back to the community that supports us all year long.
The day started with shortened classes, a spirit assembly and a tailgate lunch before our entire school community headed out for an afternoon of service. Students, teachers, administrators and staff members spread throughout the community to lend a helping hand wherever they were needed.
From landscaping and beautification projects to free car washes, painting, cleaning and countless other requested tasks, our Broncos rolled up their sleeves and got to work!
While the projects may have looked different from place to place, the purpose was the same: to say thank you by serving the community we are so fortunate to call home.
A huge THANK YOU to the businesses, organizations, community members and everyone who welcomed our Broncos yesterday. And thank you for the countless ways you support Union Grove Union High School throughout the year. We are grateful for you!

We’re excited to welcome Linsey Liebherr to the #BroncoFam! Mrs. Liebherr is joining Union Grove Union High School as our new school counselor.
👋 A little about me:
I have been in education for 11 years, all of which have been spent at the 4K-8 level. I worked in Lake Geneva and most recently with Siena Catholic Schools of Racine. I am a mom to 3 boys and enjoy spending time with my family as much as possible.
🎉 What I’m most excited about:
I am most excited about being at the high school level and working with the students to get them ready for what’s next. I care deeply about mental health and hope to support as many students as I can.
✨ Fun fact:
My husband is an army infantry veteran and we are part of the Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association- I am an auxiliary member. We spend time riding his Harley and raising money to help veterans in need.

👋 A little about me:
This is my 25th year as an educator. I live in Whitewater with my husband, daughter, son, and 2 dogs. I enjoy walking, kayaking, and watching Wisconsin sports. I would love to travel more presently, but in the past I have enjoyed visiting Mexico, Australia, and Sri Lanka.

I am really looking forward to getting to know the UGUHS staff and students. I have already received such a warm welcome from the people while working this summer.
✨ Fun fact:
I know how to polka pretty well :) I grew up the daughter of a band leader who played the accordion. I also played rugby in college.
