From trauma simulations to hands-on experiences with medical professionals, our Broncos delved into the diverse opportunities in healthcare. 🇩🇪✈️ Our German Club had a blast hosting 14 students and 1 teacher from our partner school in Hamburg, Germany! From April 13-24, they dove into American high school life, shadowing our students, catching a Brewers game, touring Madison, and hitting the lanes for some bowling fun. Huge thanks to our amazing UGHS host families and everyone who made this exchange unforgettable!

Auditions are coming up for the 2024 fall musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Incoming freshman and current students who will attend UGHS in the fall of 2024 are welcome to audition. Auditions will take place on April 29th and 30th. Students interested in crew positions will apply the first week of our fall semester. Nine young women attended the HOSA State Leadership Conference last Sunday through Tuesday. They all participated by competing in their events, taking Academic Tests, participating in an anatomy tournament, acting as courtesy corps, or voting for HOSA state leadership. Congratulations to our senior team of Trista Meteyard and Lia Vasiliadis who advanced to internationals with their Mental Health Promotion! Adelle Polzin earned State Recognition for scoring in the top 25% on two academic exams (Biology and Genetics). The entire team made UG proud!
For the first year ever UG Girls tried out Flag Football this past weekend in a Verona tournament. Sammie Hafferkamp won the fastest girl at the tournament as she dominated the 40 yard dash in the Skills Challenge. They had a blast!
Over spring break, the Spanish Club traveled to Costa Rica. During their trip, the students visited a coffee plantation, ziplined in the jungle, played soccer with local elementary school, and hiked to volcano lava fields. They also saw wildlife in the jungle- like sloths, toucans and monkeys! 🦥🐒🐦🎋
