
Today, PLTW Biomedical students got a unique experience at Marquette University’s cadaver lab! Diane, program coordinator for College of Heath Sciences, along with her students, gave an inside look at organs, muscles, arteries, nerves, and more! An incredible hands-on experience!

Eight students traveled to Wisconsin Dells for the HOSA State Leadership Conference, and competed in Healthcare related events. Mallory Dam and Nora Kahle, placed 2nd in Health Career Display and qualified to compete at the International Leadership Conference!



Skills USA competed at the state competition in Madison at the Alliant Energy Center last earlier this month. Congratulations to Preston Jocis who earned Bronze in sheet metal.


Trends and Fitness Class went to 9 Round for a kickboxing experience last week! Miss Erin Cain, our Physical Education Student Teacher, led the class in 9 rounds of different cardio kickboxing exercises. All the students had fun and gave it a thumbs up!





Today is #NC3NationalSigningDay, and we celebrated students as they commit to continue their technical education toward rewarding careers. Congratulations!

Assistant Childcare Teacher students took over Mrs. Ninneman's Kindergarten class at Union Grove Elementary School! Students did a great job teaching, guiding, and leading a full day of activities.




Seniors - this is your last reminder. Banquet tickets must be purchased by the end of the day 4/14 Mrs. Mikula is in room 104 before and after school and Patti in the office will sell before and after school and during passing time. The office is now in the library hallway


This week's #WorkhorseWednesday is Madilyn Seitz. She has learned skills working at our local Piggly Wiggly that will help her future.

Students are chosen by different departments each month and selected according to their academic progress, attitude, effort, behavior, character and responsibility. The recipients are awarded with a certificate and other prizes.

On February 24th, PLTW students and HOSA members were fortunate to have Dr. Janamarie Truesdell a guest speaker come in to speak about her experience and background on forensic anthropology.
Dr. Truesdell is the consulting anthropologist for the counties of Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, and Waukesha and teaches courses in death investigation and the recovery and analysis of human remains at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside.
