🚗 End-of-Day Traffic Pattern Update 🚦
Due to ongoing construction, a traffic change will be in effect at dismissal:
- All vehicles exiting the south parking lot must turn right (northbound) onto Hwy 45.
- This will take place daily from 2:45–2:55pm (or until traffic clears).
- Racine County Sheriff’s deputies will be on site to help direct traffic and stop northbound traffic south of our driveway.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping dismissal safe and efficient. Thank you!

Friday night lights are back! The Broncos kicked off the season with a 35-6 victory over Horlick. 💪🔥 Huge thanks to our spirited student section for bringing the energy, and it was great to see our new principal, Mr. Blair, along with associate principals Mrs. Hegeman and Mr. Jones, cheering on the team. Breaking Ground on Our Future
Rain couldn’t stop us from celebrating a milestone for Union Grove High School!
On July 30, we kicked off our referendum projects inside, hearing from key leaders including Diane Skewes (School Board President), Tom Johnson (Superintendent), Steve Wicklund (Village President), and representatives from JP Cullen and Plunkett Raysich Architects.
When the skies cleared, we grabbed our shovels for some ceremonial dirt-turning and snapped a few memorable photos. The real sunshine? Ice cream from Community State Bank’s Cruiser—guaranteed smiles all around.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Broncos Media and Paul Vassalotti for capturing the day.

Just a friendly reminder that Picture Day for all students in grades 9-12 is Thursday, August 14th from 12-7 p.m. Enter the south doors to small gym.

In-person Registration: For parents who still need to pay fees, stop by the main office on Thursday.
Senior Athletes: All seniors participating in a Fall sport will have their Media Day photos taken from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m (drop in times). Please remember to wear your uniform for these photos!

The Athletic Office will be offering two special permit days in July—a great opportunity for Fall athletes, especially Football players, to stop in and get their practice permits!
📅 Permit Days in July:
• Tuesday, July 29 | 12PM – 4PM
• Thursday, July 31 | 8AM– 12PM
📅 August Office Hours (Starting August 4):
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
✅ To receive a practice permit, make sure the following are complete:
1. Skyward online athletic registration
2. Concussion/Cardiac form (also online on Skyward)
3. Up-to-date physical (bring a copy or email it to: gehrgin@ug.k12.wi.us)
4. Immunization records (needed for our school RN) Note: there are new requirements.
