Today was Patti’s last day after an incredible 28 years of dedicated service to Union Grove High School. As the Administrative Assistant to the Principal, Patti has been the steady hand and organized core of our school for so many years. Her professionalism, kindness, and commitment to our students and staff have made a lasting impact on the entire Bronco community.

Due to the weather forecast, Union Grove High School’s building and campus will be closed this evening, Thursday 12/18/25, beginning at 6:00 pm. This includes the fitness center, activities, and athletic events this evening after 6pm.

Congratulations to Edmund Burrow on a great showing at the Wisconsin High Schools eSports Association Fall State Championship. Eddie qualified for the 1v1 Super Smash Bros tournament, earning an invitation as one of the top 64 players from the fall season. He competed hard and finished tied for 13th place. Interior Design students applying design principles through the Shoebox Challenge!
Last week, we hosted the UG Area Chamber's Leadership Union Grove class for a day all about education! They learned about UGHS and got into great dialogue with leaders from our local schools for a principal panel. They also tested their knowledge in a game in the style of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader!"

SALT (Student-Athlete Leadership Team) was at the Southern Lakes Conference Leadership Summit at the Veteran's Terrace today. They listened to a guest speaker, Derek Deprey, and collaborated with students from other schools in our conference.

🎮 UG Esports Varsity Smash Team Hits the Road!
Last month, our Varsity Smash team traveled to Elkhorn Area High School for a rare face-to-face competition against both Elkhorn and Delavan-Darien. Elkhorn recently opened a state-of-the-art esports facility and generously invited our team and DDHS to experience it firsthand.
Because esports typically competes online, this was a unique and exciting opportunity — and our Broncos made the most of it! The team battled through many competitive matches, finishing the day 1–1, falling to DDHS but edging out Elkhorn in a nail-biter that came down to the final competitor.
A huge thank-you to Elkhorn Area HS for being such outstanding hosts and to WIHSEA for making events like this possible! 🎮👏

Thirty students in the third course of our Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science pathway received their white coats in recognition of their commitment to learning about many facets of healthcare. Through these courses they've learned about the anatomy of the human body, infectious diseases, cancer, forensic science, and many other medical conditions and professions. Most of these students are planning on continuing education to pursue a career in healthcare. It was a great celebration of a well deserving group of students! #broncofam
The UGHS Performing Arts Department will present their winter choral concert, A STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS, on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:00pm in the Union Grove Performance Center. Songs will be sung by both our Concert Choir and the UGHS Carolers. Classic tunes like "Silent Night" and "Sleigh Ride" will combine with new favorites in a concert that is sure to be a hit for the whole family. Let's pack the house for this free event that will celebrate 10 seasons of the UGHS carolers and will feature a visit from Santa! There's enough holiday cheer for everyone at the winter choral concert!
